Showdown is the latest Rec Room Original PvP. It was announced on the Rec Room YouTube Channel on August 11th, 2022 and was playable if you had a RR+ Membership. Showdown was released to all players on August 18th, 2022. In game, Deputies and Bandits fight each other for control of Sarsaparilla Springs in a 3v3 Team Battle.
Two teams of three players spawn into the map with a Cork Spinner, there are weapons scattered throughout the map which you can pick up to gain an advantage over the enemy team, this includes the Cork Blaster and the Cork Repeater.

The Theater is the place where players spawn when they first load into Showdown (or the Lobby Area). It is also the place where you can switch teams and start the game. The Theater also contains 4 Cork Spinners and a small shooting range to practice aiming.
Archibald Mining Co. Is a building inside Showdown, Inside there is a minecart and a closed door. In the front, there is a shotgun with a haybale with a Cork Blaster on top of it.
The Station is the place where the train stops every so often, In the middle inside a small enclosed area a Cork Blaster will spawn on the table.
Virtua Fighter 5
The Station also contains a Sarsaparilla Springs sign and a population sign, which has crossed out numbers decreasing, going from 132 to 51 to 12, It then just says the word "Archie."
The Station also contains a roof which you can get on top of in many different ways, the roof also bridges over to other locations as well.
The Roof is a very dangerous position to be on, as you can get easily shot from all angles. If you play it right, it could be a power position.

The Bar also contains a second floor with cover and plentiful protection, some of the windows are also boarded off, a safe location for most people.
The Sheriff's Office is a red closed-off building, It has a roof that can be accessed by jumping on a pile of boxes on either side of the building.
The General Store has a large angled roof which can be accessed by climbing up the side of the building or going across the bridge from the station, there is also another bridge that leads to the 2nd floor of the bank.

The Revolver (Also known as the Cork Spinner) Shoots 6 corks before needing to be reloaded, It has an unlimited range and can be fired by pressing the trigger or holding it down. All Players respawn with The Cork Spinner.
The Shotgun (Also known as the Cork Blaster) Shoots 2 times with 6 corks each before needing to be reloaded, It has a far shorter range than all other weapons but is deadly up close.
Left 4 Dead
The Carbine (Also known as the Cork Blaster) Shoots in 3 cork bursts after 3 bursts the gun needs to be reloaded. It has high recoil and a slow fire rate. (It can be used as a sniper.)
Unlike other rec room weapons The Showdown weapons have an "Auto Reload" mechanic which is self explanatory, It reloads the gun when you shoot x amount of times, these are also made with CV2.
Showdown is frequently criticized of how buggy it is. It received an overwhelming amount of negativity, there have been a lot of notable concerns raised by the early participants of Showdown.
